Molly Tea (茉莉奶白) Global Guide 2026: Top 5 Drinks & Secret Menu Hacks

What Is Molly Tea? If you like the vibes of CHAGEE, Molly Tea (茉莉奶白) is the trendy, floral-obsessed cousin. Founded in Shenzhen in 2021, the name “Molly” is a play on Mò Lì (茉莉), the Mandarin word for Jasmine . They don't just sell tea; they sell an "Oriental Modern" lifestyle. Their branding is iconic—think minimalist candy-pink cups, floral-scented sachets, and a heavy focus on the "Four Famous Flowers of the East" (Jasmine 茉莉, White Champaca 白兰, Gardenia 栀子, and Osmanthus 桂花). Why Everyone Is Queuing in 2026: The "Seven-Step" Scenting: They use a trademark process to infuse the scent of fresh flowers into the tea leaves. You aren't just drinking tea; you’re drinking a garden.

Best KOI Thé Drinks Worldwide: 2026 Global Menu Audit & Magnet Badge Rules

2026 Update: I've updated this guide with the new 2026 "Clock In the World" Magnet Challenge where you can get free drinks. Whether you're in Dubai, Paris, or Singapore, this is your 2026 KOI roadmap.

What Is KOI Thé?

KOI Thé (formerly known as KOI Café) was founded in 2006 in Singapore and rebranded in 2015 to focus exclusively on premium tea. It's best known for elevating bubble tea through craftsmanship, quality ingredients, and consistent flavors across its global outlets.

Here’s what makes KOI Thé stand out:

  1. Signature Bubble Tea (Boba)
Especially their Golden Bubble Milk Tea, Oolong Milk Tea, and Macchiato Series (with creamy cheese or foam toppings).

  2. Premium Tea, Freshly Brewed
KOI uses high-quality loose-leaf teas and brews each cup fresh for better depth and aroma.

  3. Golden Tapioca Pearls
These aren’t your average black pearls. KOI’s smaller, golden-hued pearls are delightfully chewy and beautifully lustrous.

  4. Elegant & Minimalist Aesthetic
KOI outlets are known for their clean, modern designs and calming ambiance — more “tea lounge” than fast-food vibe.

🌍 A Truly Global Brand

KOI Thé has grown from a local favorite to over 650 stores worldwide, with locations across:

My Take:
If you’re traveling through Southeast Asia or Europe this year, this is the ultimate "boba quest." Just remember to take a photo of yourself with the magnet in front of the store, it's required for the higher-level prizes (Level 2 and 3) !

So... What Should You Order at KOI Thé?

I’ll be honest ,  I had friends raving about KOI Thé, but when I finally saw the menu, I was confused. So. Many. Options. Being the curious (and indecisive) person I am, I went digging.

Sadly, there’s no single global Top 5 list, KOI’s menu is regionalized, and what's popular in Singapore might not be the same in Japan or Dubai.

But I didn’t give up. I went through official menus from 13 countries and compiled their Top 5 drinks.

Here are a few interesting examples:

🇦🇪 Dubai

  • Golden Bubble Milk Tea

  • Jumbo Milk Tea

  • Caramel Black Tea Macchiato

  • Passionfruit Green Tea

  • Brown Sugar Milk Tea

🇯🇵 Japan

  • Golden Bubble Milk Tea

  • Brown Sugar Milk Tea

  • Taro Q Roasted Green Tea Latte

  • Mango Green Tea

  • Golden Bubble Red Bean Matcha Latte

🇫🇷 France

  • Golden Bubble Thé au Lait (Milk Tea)

  • Thé Noir Macchiato (Black Tea Macchiato)

  • Brown Sugar Milk Tea

  • Peach Green Tea

  • Lychee Black Tea

🥇 Top 5 KOI Thé Drinks to Try (Global Favorites)

After comparing rankings across 13 countries  including Singapore, China, Japan, Malaysia, France, and more ,  these drinks appeared most consistently in KOI’s official Top 5 lists.

If you're a first-timer or just want to know what’s worth trying, start here:

1. Golden Bubble Milk Tea

(Black Tea + Milk + Golden Tapioca Pearls)

Why it’s a must-try:
KOI’s undisputed signature. The golden pearls are softer, chewier, and more fragrant than typical boba, and the tea is freshly brewed with creamy depth.
Great if: You want the ultimate KOI experience or love a classic milk tea done right.

2. Black Tea Macchiato

Why it’s a must-try:
Strong black tea topped with a luscious, slightly salted cream foam. A layered, fragrant drink — and a standout non-bubble option.
Great if: You like your tea rich, smooth, and without pearls.

3. Brown Sugar Milk Tea / Fresh Milk

Why it’s a must-try:
Caramelized brown sugar adds sweetness and richness, and it's a top seller in Japan, France, and Malaysia.
Great if: You prefer dessert-style drinks with indulgent, deep sweetness.

4. Peach Green Tea / Peach Oolong Tea

Why it’s a must-try:
Fruity, floral, and refreshing. Popular across regions, it’s lightly sweet and pairs well with hot weather.
Great if: You want something chilled, fruity, and not too creamy.

5. Lychee Black Tea

Why it’s a must-try:
This floral-fruity tea is bright, lightly sweet, and tropical. A favorite in places like France and Malaysia.
Great if: You enjoy fragrant teas without milk, with or without toppings.

These drinks didn’t crack the global Top 5 but are local legends:

  • Taro Q Series (Vietnam, Japan, China) – Rich, earthy, and textured

  • Yakult Green Tea (Malaysia, Cambodia) – Tangy, zesty, and refreshing

  • Ice Cream Milo (Vietnam), Milo O (Philippines) – Creamy and nostalgic

Official Topsellers Flavor Profile Great For
Golden Bubble Milk Tea Creamy, classic black milk tea with chewy golden pearls First-timers, milk tea lovers, KOI signature experience
Black Tea Macchiato Bold black tea with smooth, slightly salted foam Fans of strong tea, low sweetness, non-bubble options
Brown Sugar Milk Tea / Fresh Milk Sweet, caramel-like brown sugar with rich milk Dessert drink lovers, those who enjoy indulgent flavors
Peach Green Tea / Peach Oolong Tea Light, fruity, floral with refreshing tea notes Fruit tea fans, non-milk drinkers, tropical flavors
Lychee Black Tea Fragrant, lightly sweet with tropical lychee aroma Floral-fruity lovers, tea-forward but refreshing choices

My Thoughts

What impressed me most during this deep dive? The consistency. Across so many regions, drinks like the Golden Bubble Milk Tea remain top sellers , and once you try it, you’ll understand why. Their pearls are softer, chewier, and lighter than usual, and the tea base is always freshly brewed.

And I’ll be honest,  I don’t usually fancy teas with bubbles, but KOI’s Golden Bubble Milk Tea is truly different. That said, I’d still gravitate toward drinks without pearls. The Black Tea Macchiato and Peach Oolong Tea really let the quality of the tea shine through.
