Top CHICHA San Chen Milk Teas in Singapore & Malaysia: What to Try First
CHICHA San Chen — what’s good? What milk tea should I get?
For someone who had never heard of this Taiwanese tea brand until stumbling across it, the dilemma is real: Where do I start on this massive menu?
If you’ve seen my earlier Global Top 7 drinks and Chicha San Chen overview, you’ll know this brand has serious tea credibility , we’re talking Michelin Guide recognition, award-winning tea bases, and a patented teaspresso system that brews each cup to order. It’s known for being a more refined, tea-first alternative to your usual bubble tea chain.
However, in humid Malaysia and Singapore, do locals love the same drinks? Or are their favorites a little different from the global top 7? What should I order?
๐ I based this list on official menu rankings, delivery app data, and real customer reviews — no fluff, just facts

๐ฌ My Take
What I love most is how customizable the drinks are. I usually skip the boba and say yes to cream , and if I am watching my calories, I can make choices to make sure that it fits my needs.
If you’re in Malaysia, note there are only 4 branches, so it's less accessible, but worth the trip if you’re nearby.
Yes, it's more expensive than average bubble tea, but the tea bases are legit, Real tea leaves brewed carefully (Lishan Oolong Tea are roasted at five different levels,) and the toppings (especially mousse) are excellent. So if I’m watching my budget, I’d stick with the bestsellers and top-reviewed picks rather than ordering blind.
Which one’s your favourite?
