What Is Molly Tea? If you like the vibes of CHAGEE, Molly Tea (茉莉奶白) is the trendy, floral-obsessed cousin. Founded in Shenzhen in 2021, the name “Molly” is a play on Mò Lì (茉莉), the Mandarin word for Jasmine . They don't just sell tea; they sell an "Oriental Modern" lifestyle. Their branding is iconic—think minimalist candy-pink cups, floral-scented sachets, and a heavy focus on the "Four Famous Flowers of the East" (Jasmine 茉莉, White Champaca 白兰, Gardenia 栀子, and Osmanthus 桂花). Why Everyone Is Queuing in 2026: The "Seven-Step" Scenting: They use a trademark process to infuse the scent of fresh flowers into the tea leaves. You aren't just drinking tea; you’re drinking a garden.

✅ Final Thoughts on Tealive Drinks

  • If you’re new to Tealive: Start with the Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea — a classic, comforting choice.

  • If you want something lighter: Try the Da Hong Pao Light Milk Tea, perfect for a lower-calorie yet flavorful option.

My take: One thing I genuinely appreciate is that, even at a very reasonable price, you can enjoy a brown sugar milk tea made with fresh milk for under RM 10. That said, I’ve tried Tealive across different outlets while travelling, and the experience hasn’t always been consistent. I had a Da Hong Pao Light Milk Tea at one outlet that tasted excellent, but when I ordered the same drink for friends in another town, it came across noticeably watery. It was different enough that I briefly questioned my own judgement. Even with that in mind, when brand options are limited, I’d still find myself ordering the Da Hong Pao Light Milk Tea.
